Education for Sustainable Development Presentation to SATIPS Broadsheet Editors and Guests, London Saturday 3rd January 2009 Our January Meeting included a review of Education for Sustainable Development by Robin Davies, SATIPS Council member. This presentation included a definition of the word Sustainability, and what the issues are, as well as some ideas as to how a school can raise these issues in a constructive and meaningful way to pupils throughout the curriculum. As well as this brief journey through different subject, opportunities such as theme days and annual events and visits were looked at. SATIPS has now run a full day course looking at all the items above in great detail on 5 th May 2009 at Barfield School, Farnham.
