satips Annual Prep School Art Exhibition

The  satips Annual Prep School Art Exhibition moves from Feltonfleet to Hordle Walhampton School, Hampshire for the next two years, where the Head of Art, Kevin Nicholls, has kindly offered to organise and hang all your pupils’ art work. Last year more than 50 schools from around the nation took part in the biggest celebration of prep school art in the country, with well over 1500 visitors during the week. If you haven’t taken part yet, 2010 is the year to do it as we would love to have more schools than ever represented. This not only gives your school the opportunity to showcase its artwork and raise the profile of art in your school, it is a wonderful opportunity for your pupils’ work to be displayed in a large exhibition of prep school art.  The private view is a wonderful chance to meet other art teachers from across the country and get inspiration from the work going on in other schools.  This will be the 10th exhibition I have been involved in and they are never the same; I am always so amazed by the never-ending imaginative ideas that art teachers can generate!!
